The Nebraska Phantasms revealed their findings concerning the investigation of the Shelton Historical Society to the Lincoln Highway Association Board of Directors, Monday March 4th, 2013.
Reception and interest was good. :-)
The investigation report and EVPs have been posted to the site.

My grandparents owned the Shelton Hotel from around 1950 until it was vacated after my grandmother died. I can't tell you the number of nights we spent there and have countless stories and great memories. There wasn't a room in that hotel that some of us grandkids had not been in. Upstairs there was one of the guest rooms that I never wanted to go in and I really can't tell you why. In the 60's it became as much a Boarding House for elderly men as it was a hotel. I have no doubt there were energies found there. I hated to see if come down.

Tom,
I was a cofounder of this group. I haven't looked at this website for quite some time as we are inactive. I work at the Shelton Clipper newspaper and was wondering if your recollections of the hotel would make for a neat Halloween-type story. Hope you get this! Let me know!
