October 2013 Update:
Here on the Great Plains we're feeling the first cool weather of fall; it's starting to feel a lot like Halloween! The Nebraska Phantasms crew has been reviewing audio from the summer's
investigations as time allows - between family commitments, jobs and just doing what is necessary to keep going on this island we call earth! We're looking forward to a few indoor investigations locally this
fall/winter and might look into revisiting some sites from the past, as time allows!

July 2013 Update:
As has been the case in the past, life gets in the way of more enjoyable pursuits and this summer has been no exception for the Nebraska Phantasms crew. Our schedules have limited our investigations this summer, so far, but it isn’t over yet!
Early in the summer, we investigated the large, creepy basement of an area business which has been in use and repurposed for well over a century; got some pretty cool captures.
In late June, we revisited the old pioneer cemetery from the long lost community of Homerville, in Gosper County. Despite the ever-present Nebraska winds, we had some intriguing captures.
Late summer and early fall sees the NP team with one investigation pending in the area, at least one in the works, and a handful of possibilities!

May 2013 Update:
Spring is finally here in Nebraska! Sort of. ...Or is it summer? Depends
on the day! Anyway, we've been on two investigations so far this winter\spring. One, a private residence in Grand Island and the other the rather spacious, ancient basement of an area business. Both were great investigations! We have a couple of cemeteries we're planning to return to this summer (as time allows) and have other projects in the works as well, so stay tuned!

January 2013 Update:
So this is 2013? So far so good! It looks to be a very active year for the Nebraska Phantasms crew! After tying up some loose ends on some 2012 investigations, the docket looks pretty full (at least early on) this year! So far we have an area business to check out, a possible return to a venue from last year (that was wonderful), possibly two or more area residences to check out and there are always a number of area cemeteries to visit (of course). One cemetery we would really like to return to is the Homerville Cemetery in Gosper County. A native of that area recently sent us some history regarding a woman who lived in the one-time village of Homerville that was incredibly interesting. We hope to be able to post the history on the site soon (along with some pictures) and report on our investigation at the Homerville Cemetery! We welcome inquiries and any additional information on some of the locations we've visited! We are all history buffs, here! Safe journeys, Phantasms! ~D.
Fall 2012 Update:
Fall is here Phellow Phantasms and the team is looking to get back "in the spirit of things" after “life in general“ occupying our time for most of the summer! Good thing we don't have a TV show or “deadlines” to meet!
We did have a few investigations over the summer; the Gibbon Cemetery, the former Brick Street Gas N Grub in Shelton, and a building in Kearney (which ask to not be named) – all of which posed some interesting questions for us.
This fall we will make a pair of trips back to Shelton to investigate the Shelton Historical Society. There are no reports of activity there, but it's over a century old; with all the feet that have passed through its doors, it could turn out to be interesting!
We do have a few other investigations in the works, so stay tuned and thank you for being patient with us!
Safe hunting, Phantasms!

Comment on the ads:
Well, we have added some ads. This is not set in stone; we are simple trying this out, hoping that maybe they will generate enough income (eventually), that we could, say, buy our own domain for at least a year, etc. If they become really inappropriate, they will be removed. We have done our best to customize the ads, and to make them discrete. We hope they do not detract from your enjoyment of the site.
